Why this book? Why at this time? Why YOU need to know this Truth. Christians and non-Christians alike deep down are not happy or filled with joy.     Jesus is the Eternal Contemporary of all time. He is present in all time in creation history and in the future as well. He is simply the " I AM", Eternal.

    When we read in Rev.13:8 that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world, or we read in Eph.1:3-14 that we were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, an interesting question is brought up. How Could this have happened before the birth of Jesus recorded in the book of Luke?

    We are reminded here that God not only exists IN time and space which He created, but He also lives outside of time and space where He has always existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Triune God. And as is the case, He sees everything in the PRESENT from that vantage point. He sees the whole panorama of the human experience "from the foundation of the world". Of course we don't because we are finite beings who only live and exist in time and space. We see from a perspective of past, present and future.

    God clearly says in Isaiah 55:8-9, that His thinking, thoughts, ways, perspectives, etc. are Higher, more advanced, Supremely advanced compared to the thoughts and reasonings of man. Man really can not comprehend the magnitude of the complexity of God's thought processes.

    God knows everything in advance. He sees everything in advance from His perspective ORIGINALLY. Even before creation He sees everything clearly played out on the human stage. (See Psalm 139 and Romans 4:17)

    When we see in Isaiah 7 and Isaiah 9 the account of " a virgin shall conceive", and the announced birth of Jesus as well as the account of the birth of Jesus in Luke 2, these in God's reality are "reenactments" of what already occurred "before the foundation of the world".

    If Rev.13:8 is true and Jesus was slain before the foundation of the world, then in God's eyes, objectively speaking, He was born before the foundation of the world as well.

    Understanding, Theology a little better allows us to process biblical concepts with greater care than would otherwise be possible.

    Paul was born, along with a twin sister Pattie, in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1944. The family soon moved to Jackson, Mississippi where the children grew up.

    Over the years, Paul had many varied interests in his life. Participating in music, choir, band, symphony and many youth sports of baseball, basketball, tennis and collegiate golf. He later coached baseball, basketball and instructed golf professionally for over 40 years.

    Paul graduated from Mississippi State University in 1966 with majors in Political Science (pre-law) and Psychology. He graduated from Ambassador University in 1972 with a Theology degree. Paul has an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force and still maintains an interest in flying with a private pilot's license. Other interests include writing poetry and a love of learning.

    With his wife, Pat, the Kurts have pastored Grace Communion International churches around the eastern United States for over 40 years. Now retired from full-time pastoring, Paul devotes much spare time to studying and writing on Trinitarian, Adoption and Inclusion Theology—an understanding of God's Love for all humanity and His plan to have mankind live inside of His life forever, made a reality for all by Jesus Christ.

    The Kurts have three grown children, Pastor Paul David, Michael Shane, and Dr. Allison K. Kurts and two grandsons, James Paul Kurts and Michael David Kurts.

    Paul continues speaking engagements around the country sharing God's Love for all people. The Kurts reside in Madison, Alabama.
